NOVGOROV - RUSSIA

Dear readers!

We left Moscow around 10.30h and then it takes some time before your out of the very busy traffic in Moscow. After approximately 150km had a small lunch in a typical Russian road cafe. It was like a small wooden cottage or something that looks like that.

The roads we fine and bearable and the weather still hadn't changed, still grey, grey and grey. Very depressing, but luckily no rain. Nothing really special or exiting happened today, except that we took the wrong way in Novgorod and drove over a huge bridge twice over the Volga river by accident.
It didn't really matter, because you'll find the way with several turns and curses.

100 meters away of the hotel we drove at a cement area, with the intention to park close to the hotel. This cement area appeared not to be a road to the parking, but a 2 meter staircase that went down. We exchanged some shocked looks and hoped the BMW was still able to drive, luckily it was.
The hotel we were staying in was a old Soviet hotel that had been renovated. I guess that there are only short people in Russia, because the elevator wasn't made for tall people like Jan Jaap.
